Visiting Weetwood Moor

Please note that the owner of the land has now advised that access to this land, as private property, may no longer be possible without his specific permission and hence you may not be able to visit these sites.

How to get there

Weetwood Moor is reached via a small track that leaves the B6348 (between Chatton and Wooler) at a bend in the road. Park on the grass by the side of the track (turning space is located further along the track).

On-site Facilities

None. Public toilets, tourist information, cafés and other shopping facilities in nearby Wooler.

Accessibility

Weetwood Moor is on mainly flat terrain with public footpaths. No access to wheelchair users. In spring and summer the site is covered in bracken.
